# 1. Autumn was my DTN CNA today. DTN stands for Dakota travel nurse. I have a joke. DTN can stand for one of two things. A darn terrible nurse or darn terrific CNA. Today's falls into the latter. Turns out that she wasn't from DTN she was from a different similar company. This morning she stripped and made my bed. Thursday is my shower day and they always strip my bed. She did so I could set my table up. For I have Covid and am quarantined in my room. And she actually did my shower! No DTN has ever given me my shower.

# 2. Quick shout out to my ex-DTN (Dakota travel nurse). Thursday my bath aid was gone. Not only did she do my shower, but she also stripped and made my bed! I've NEVER seen both done at once!

# 3. I nominated my CNA for the Caregiver of the Year award. This is what it says. He's hands down my favorite caregiver. The way he addresses everything is key. We always start our day with a "pound" or "fist bump." But I really appreciate how when he's doing my care he prevents me from trying to help, as I do for others because my hands aren't sanitary. When I was having a lapse in my faith, he took the time to listen. He laughs at my jokes even when they are bad. He gave me a few Altoids. When I was broke and out of my sugar-free candy. Always intends for everything to go as smoothly as possible. I sing a parody of the song "Superfreak" and change the words to "He's a super pimp, super pimp, he's super pimping!"

# 4. Amanda brought various board games and even a two-player type arcade basketball game strictly for the residents.

Missy has been my CNA during my hospital stay. I only have like five sets of clothes. She has been taking them to her house and washing them!

#6 8/12/23

And now Missy fixed my shorts putting a shoe string as the drawstring!
